Job Title: PET Imaging Technologist Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) in Charleston, South Carolina.
About the JobThis is a regular, full-time position working 40 hours per week. The hourly pay rate for this position is estimated to be around $38-$45 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities- Assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by preparing patients and operating nuclear medicine equipment.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications to obtain diagnostic images and/or provide therapy as ordered by physician.
- Provide quality care to pediatric through adult patients using professional and ethical judgment along with critical thinking in performing duties.
- Graduate of an ARRT or NMTCB recognized Nuclear Medicine Program required.
- Work Experience: 0-2 years in Radiologic experience.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) from the NMTCB or Registered Technologist (RT(N)) from ARRT or registry eligible.
- Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) required.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
