Position Overview

  • Interpret job specifications to ascertain necessary machine adjustments and material needs.
  • Configure stops or guides to precise lengths as dictated by scales, rules, or templates.
  • Monitor machine operations to identify product defects or operational issues.
  • Examine products for inconsistencies or unusual appearances to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery.
  • Support fellow operators with machine setup and other essential tasks to meet production deadlines.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization in the designated work area.
  • Perform additional duties related to the role as assigned on a temporary or permanent basis.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of one month of relevant experience.
  • Capability to lift weights up to 40 lbs.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety guidelines, operational instructions, and maintenance manuals.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in various units of measure.
  • Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic forms.
  • Skill in addressing problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Basic computer literacy is required.
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy in all work-related tasks.

Compensation Package

  • The hourly wage is set at $17.50/hr.
