About the Role

Spacebase is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our early-stage team in Santa Barbara. Our engineers strive to identify customer pain points and craft elegant solutions that meet their needs. We primarily use Python and Django, but we're open to exploring various technologies. As an early team member, you'll have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the product and gain hands-on experience in operating and scaling a growing tech company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead website enhancements to improve user experience, optimize performance, and implement new features
  • Provide dedicated support to clients throughout the onboarding and implementation process, ensuring seamless integration of software solutions and timely resolution of client inquiries and requests
  • Collaborate with the team to develop new features and debug existing code
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Familiarity with Python and Django
  • Experience with modern web frameworks
  • Strong sense of product, user experience, and design
