Life Flight Network is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fixed Wing Pilot to join our team. As a member of our esteemed crew, you will be responsible for safely operating Pilatus aircraft to transport critically ill and/or injured patients. Key Responsibilities- Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure the aircraft is airworthy and safe for operation.
- Plan and execute flights, taking into account weather conditions, air traffic control, and other factors that may impact the safety of the flight.
- Load passengers, baggage, and cargo safely and efficiently, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of flight operations, including logs, reports, and other documentation.
- Collaborate with other crew members and ground staff to ensure seamless and efficient flight operations.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Aviation or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a professional pilot, with a strong background in air medical transportation.
- Hold a FAA Airline Transport Pilot certificate, with a valid medical certificate.
- 2500 hours PIC time Airplane, with 1500 Turbine hours and 500 hours in a turbo prop aircraft.
- 250 hours instrument time, with 250 hours of unaided night time experience.
- Recent air medical transportation experience preferred, with a strong understanding of aviation safety protocols.
