Position Overview:

Deliver prompt, precise, and welcoming service while crafting the finest quality beverages for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive beverage requests from customers.
  • Craft and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with the establishment's standard recipes.
  • Familiarize yourself with the names and preferences of regular customers.
  • Accurately log drink orders immediately upon receipt into the point-of-sale system.
  • Process customer payments, handle credit card transactions, and provide change when necessary.
  • Clean and sanitize glassware.
  • Prepare garnishes for drinks and restock snacks and appetizers for bar guests.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing setup of bottles and glassware to facilitate efficient drink preparation and promote beverage offerings.
  • Present drink menus, offer suggestions, and respond to inquiries regarding beverages.
  • Ensure cleanliness in all bar areas, including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage spaces.
Additional Duties:

  • Report any equipment malfunctions and maintenance issues to the restaurant manager.
  • Assist in the restocking and replenishment of bar supplies and inventory.
  • Be prepared to assist in various roles as necessary to maintain the smooth operation of the restaurant as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in bartending or a related field.
  • Have a solid understanding of beer, wine, and liquor tasting notes, with a willingness to expand knowledge.
  • Exhibit strong basic math skills and the ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods (up to 5 hours).
  • Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have the endurance to work 40 hours weekly.
  • Arrive dressed and ready to work 10 minutes prior to the start of the shift.
