We are looking for a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Providence St. Mary Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality images using computed tomography scanners.

About the Job

This position requires a strong understanding of computed tomography principles and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
Requirements

To be successful as a CT Technologist at Providence St. Mary Medical Center, you must have:

  • A completion of an accredited radiologic training program
  • A Washington State Radiologic Technologist license upon hire
  • A National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
  • A National Registered Technologist - Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
  • Able to obtain a National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography or National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board certification within one year of hire
  • At least six months of CT scanning experience as an ARRT(R) registered technologist
  • PREFERRED: One year of CT scanning experience as an ARRT(R)(CT) registered technologist
