Job Description

Langan is seeking a seasoned Urban Mobility Specialist to join its team in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing and delivering traffic and transportation projects. The estimated salary for this position is around $125,000 - $155,000 per year, depending on experience.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the planning and permitting process for traffic/transportation engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects;
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and deadlines. Prepare progress reports and draft change orders. Prepare draft invoices, project billings, and assist in payment collections;
  • Collaborate with staff to analyze preliminary data and prepare reports, specifications, plans, and design for projects;
  • Develop and edit draft proposals, reports, and other documents;
  • Identify and pursue new clients and opportunities through business development meetings;
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff assigned to Traffic/Transportation projects. Participate in interviewing and hiring staff;
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, subcontractors, staff, project personnel, supervisors, and other office locations/disciplines. Participate in internal and external technical presentations and produce written articles for internal and external publications;
  • Perform other duties as requested.
