Position Title: Laborer

Role Summary:

The Laborer will be responsible for inspecting materials and categorizing items or materials into specified areas based on type. Duties include performing cleaning tasks related to plant equipment and maintaining general cleanliness. Immediate reporting of system issues to the Supervisor is essential. A strong attendance record and commitment to safety and work standards are expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general labor tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working at various heights, both indoors and outdoors.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a laborer role within an industrial environment.

Physical and Job Site Requirements:

  • Ability to complete hiring documentation electronically.
  • Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must possess the strength and endurance necessary to perform essential job functions.
  • Ability to navigate confined spaces and uneven terrain.
  • Full range of motion appropriate for age.
  • Ability to climb and maintain balance on ladders.
  • Must be able to hear and respond to verbal commands and alarms.
  • Visual acuity and depth perception necessary for working at heights and on uneven surfaces.
  • Safety footwear is mandatory.
