About the Role

This Medical Program Coordinator position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the medication administration process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional care to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage medication storage and administration for all clients within the group home, adhering to prescribed schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records, including Medication Administration Records (MAR).
  • Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Source and track medications, ensuring timely and accurate delivery from pharmacies.
  • Communicate effectively with doctors, healthcare providers, and pharmacies regarding medication orders, adjustments, and client needs.
  • Monitor medication effectiveness and report any concerns or changes in client health to relevant team members.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on proper medication handling and administration procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in medication management, pharmacy, or a related healthcare field.
  • Knowledge of medication administration regulations and documentation practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with medical professionals.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience working in a group home or similar healthcare setting.
  • Certifications such as Child Abuse, FBI background checks, State Police Background checks, TB Testing, and CPR/First aid certifications are mandatory.
  • Medication Certification is required, preferably CMA or CMT, MAR Certifications.

Salary Range: $58,000 - $68,000 per year
