We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at Aspirus Eagle River Hospital. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality laboratory services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex laboratory tests and procedures, including chemical, bacteriological, serological, hematological, and microscopic analyses.
  • Exercise independent judgment and interpretation in the performance of laboratory tests and procedures.
  • Meet the qualifications necessary to perform high-complexity testing as defined by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA 88).
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
  • Active Medical Technology (MT-ASCP) or Medical Laboratory Science (MLS-ASCP) certification, or equivalent.
  • Previous applicable experience beneficial.
  • Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
