Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasounds (echocardiograms) to produce images of the heart and its function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality cardiac ultrasounds to produce accurate images of the heart and its function
  • Measure and record cardiac parameters to aid in diagnosis and treatment
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and optimal care
  • Continuously advance and evolve technical knowledge in the field of cardiac ultrasound
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate of a two-year Allied Health Training Program or Ultrasound Technology program preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Science or related field preferred
  • 4-8 years of experience in inpatient/outpatient cardiac ultrasound
  • New Mexico State Licensure under the New Mexico Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program (NMRTT) required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • ARDMS/RDCS credential with AE, FE, or PE specialty or CCI credential with RCS or RCCS required
