Your Responsibilities:

  • Operate split-axle tractor/trailer combinations to deliver various types of cargo, including pallets and vendor loads.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate driving logs, adhering to all regulations and safety protocols.
  • Utilize hydraulic 5th wheel tractors to maneuver trailers within the depot yard, ensuring smooth operations and efficient handling.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, coworkers, and vendors, providing updates on your location and delivery status.
  • Secure cargo properly and perform routine checks before each trip, prioritizing safety and compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience driving tractor-trailers.
  • Clean driving record for the past 3 years.
  • Knowledge of cargo loading and securing practices.
  • Ability to pass a physical exam every 2 years.
