We are seeking a skilled Travel CT Technologist to join our dynamic team at Novant Health Matthews Medical Center. This role is essential for providing high-quality imaging services in various clinical settings.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory Certifications: BLS, ARRT CT
Job Specifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a relevant role
  • Traveler Experience: Open to first-time travelers
  • Work Settings: Adult Acute Care, ICU, and Emergency Department
Technical Skills
  • Abdomen, Pelvis & Chest Skills: Proficient in imaging with and without contrast
  • Head & Neck Skills: Expertise in carotid and trauma imaging
  • Spine and Musculoskeletal Skills: Knowledge in cervical and lumbar imaging
Shift Information
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift Timing: 8-hour mids from 14:30 to 23:00
Patient Demographics

This position involves working with a diverse patient population, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Unit Details
  • Equipment: Siemens technology required
  • Unit Systems: EPIC
  • Orientation: 16 hours of unit orientation provided
Additional Requirements
  • Skills: Proficient in isolation precautions, contrast media administration, and radiation safety
  • Call Requirement: Occasional on-call duties
  • Weekend Requirement: Potential weekend shifts with prior notice
Preferred Skills
  • Additional Equipment: Familiarity with PACS
  • Special Procedures: Experience in aspirations, biopsies, and myelography
