Job Overview

New Way Trucks is a leading manufacturer of heavy-duty equipment, committed to delivering excellence in quality and innovation. Our team is seeking a skilled Pulse Welder to join our manufacturing team at the Carroll and Scranton plants.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong welding skills to work on assembling fabricated metal assemblies in an efficient manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality welds that meet our rigorous standards.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble fabricated metal assemblies using specified wire welding processes
  • Produce smooth, non-porous, and consistent welds
  • Follow required procedures and use jigs and fixtures to assist in the assembly process
  • Operate equipment safely and report hazards to the Safety Department and Maintenance Department
Requirements
  • 1 year preferred experience in welding or fabrication
  • Good communication and math skills, including fractions and angles
  • Ability to read tape measure and angle finder, as well as blueprints and cut lists
