Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Security Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing security systems, including burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV systems, and card access systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and inspect security systems to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning security equipment
  • Test security systems to ensure they are operating correctly
  • Prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs
  • Coordinate inspections and installations with police, fire departments, and other agencies

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience installing and inspecting/repairing security systems
  • Experience with card access/CCTV/IP cameras
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Electrical/electronic background
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fire alarm experience
  • Some college
  • NICET II or greater
