Clinical Support Specialist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and organized Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our physicians and nurses in providing high-quality medical services, while also ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist with clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering medications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring timely completion of tasks and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
  • Active American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire date.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting.
