We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team at Petco.

Job DescriptionThe Veterinarian will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating diseases, and providing preventive care according to patient signalment, lifestyle, and environment. They will also utilize problem-based approaches to develop complete problem lists, differential diagnoses, diagnostic plans, and treatments based on diagnostic test results.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
- Active licensure as a veterinarian without contingencies in the state where the hospital is located or ability to obtain by start date.
- Current DEA license.
- Current Controlled Substance License, if applicable, in the state where the hospital is located or ability to obtain by start date.
- USDA Category I (minimum) Accreditation or completion within two months of hire date.
- Competitive salary range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

The Veterinarian will work closely with our experienced medical team to ensure the highest level of patient care and customer satisfaction. They will be expected to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor during emotional and stressful situations. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a team player, and be willing to learn new techniques and treatments.
