Position Overview

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for efficiently managing the flow of goods within the warehouse environment. This role involves picking orders to meet production demands, receiving incoming materials, and preparing finished products for shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize safety equipment to open packages and handle materials effectively.
  • Operate high-reach order picking machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Process orders using RF tracking technology while adhering to performance standards.
  • Access inventory data through the AS400 system to ensure accurate stock management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
  • Basic arithmetic skills, including addition and subtraction.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift weights up to 60 lbs.
  • Capable of performing physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and reaching.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and at various warehouse locations as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
  • Certification in operating wave and order picking equipment.
