Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Statistical Modeling Engineer to join our team at EquipmentShare. As a Statistical Modeling Engineer, you will work closely with our experienced data scientists to develop and implement advanced analytics methods.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mathematics, particularly in calculus, linear algebra, probability, and statistics. Experience with modern data science tools and techniques, such as machine learning and optimization, is also essential.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing numerical models and working with large datasets. You will also have the chance to collaborate with our cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement.

**Salary:** $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced analytics methods to improve business outcomes

Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Quantitative Economics, Statistics, or related quantitative field
  • Solid grasp of mathematics, particularly in calculus, linear algebra, probability, and statistics
  • Experience with modern data science tools and techniques, such as machine learning and optimization
  • Strong Python coding skills to develop numerical models
