We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Math Instructor to join our team at Platt College Los Angeles, LLC.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to students in a dynamic and supportive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and education, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support student growth and development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of students and the college
  • Stay current with developments in mathematics and education, and incorporate best practices into teaching and learning

Requirements

  • Master's degree in mathematics or a related field
  • Minimum of two years' experience in teaching mathematics at the post-secondary level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators
  • Ability to use technology to support teaching and learning, including learning management systems and educational software
