Job Title: Registered Nurse, Telemetry

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Telemetry department at the University of Maryland Medical System. Job Summary

The Registered Nurse, Telemetry is responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing education program approved by the Board of Nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
