Job Summary

Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is currently hiring for a full-time Catalog Assembly Helper to work out of one of our offices in Waggaman, LA. As a Catalog Assembly Helper, you will be responsible for assembling materials in accordance with the work order and submitting it to shipping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain work copy and match with original order.
  • Assemble products from work order accurately and efficiently.
  • Submit the work order to the warehouse for shipment.
  • Assist with landscape and grass cutting.
  • Notify managers concerning any non-conformities and the need for repairs to the facility or equipment.
  • Maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Be able to know the products and part numbers.
  • Have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Be able to stand and work in a warm environment for an 8-hour shift.
  • Have good working knowledge of figures and numbers.
  • Be able to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Be able to lift and carry heavy objects (over 50 pounds).
