Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional medical care to animals in our adoption program
  • Collaborate with our veterinary team to develop innovative strategies for animal health and well-being
  • Encourage continuous improvement and outside-the-box solutions throughout the shelter

Requirements:
  • Current North Carolina Veterinary License or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
  • Qualification and eligibility to obtain a DEA license
  • Fear-free handling methods and certification within 60 days of hire
  • Knowledgeable about shelter medicine and spay/neuter best practices
