Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technical management of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and providing training and guidance to team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical management of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on laboratory procedures and techniques.
  • Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  • Collaborate with the laboratory director and other stakeholders to develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and laboratory operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of experience in a medical laboratory setting.
  • ASCP-MT or MLT certification or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of laboratory information systems and electronic health records.
