Jockey Driver

We are seeking a skilled Jockey Driver to join our team at Perdue Farms, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for positioning trailers and pulling trailers from the offal room, ensuring efficient and safe operations.

• Position trailers in designated areas on the yard, maintaining an average trailer movement rate of five trailers per hour.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections on the jockey tractor, ensuring it is in good working condition.
• Clean and refuel the jockey tractor, checking fluid levels and reporting any issues.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including wearing personal protective equipment and reporting unsafe acts and conditions.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months of experience in a similar role within the last three years.
• CDL license preferred but not required.

The successful candidate will be required to work in all four seasons, with temperatures ranging from 0 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. They must be able to stand for up to 8 hours, ascend and descend steps, and lift up to 40 pounds.
