Role Overview:
The Transmission Line Engineering Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the design and execution of high voltage transmission line projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Transmission Line Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with project and program managers to plan and oversee engineering teams focused on technical aspects of transmission line projects.
  • Leading the development and implementation of project execution and quality assurance plans.
  • Ensuring that project teams are well-informed about client technical standards and preferences.
  • Advising clients on technical matters and coordinating with project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitoring resource allocation and workload forecasts to address staffing needs effectively.
  • Mentoring and supporting project engineers in managing scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Maintaining overall quality and technical accuracy in project designs.
  • Participating in quality control reviews and internal development of design standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an engineering consulting environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design software relevant to the power sector.

Required Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional registration or certification as required.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
