Job Title: Area Manager, Youth Mental Health Academy

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to join our team at the Youth Mental Health Academy (YMHA). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the YMHA, ensuring the efficient delivery of programs and services to our participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the YMHA sites, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve program outcomes and participant engagement.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, researchers, and community organizers, to achieve program goals.
  • Provide on-site support during the summer program and ensure site needs and supplies are met.
  • Travel to YMHA sites in the Oakland area to oversee operations and provide support as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of operations or project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline required, master's degree preferred.
  • Prior experience with community-focused and/or educational initiatives preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with strong collaboration abilities.
  • Demonstrated management and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to adjust workload based on changing priorities.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,258-$87,822 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
