CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - FT - Night Shift

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society in Scotland, SD. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities- Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
- Assist residents with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and other personal care needs.
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
- Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
- Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year.
