About the Role
As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Nursing Supervisor will oversee nursing operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and adherence to established policies and regulations. This role is essential in managing nursing personnel, addressing disciplinary matters, and preparing administrative documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise hospital staff to guarantee compliance with care standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing staff, addressing performance issues and coordinating duties.
- Engage in program development and training initiatives for nursing recruitment and continuing education.
- Conduct assessments of patient needs and participate in delivering nursing care.
- Maintain accurate patient health records and oversee supply inventory management.
- Promote adherence to the organization's Code of Business Conduct and monitor compliance issues.
Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid RN license in the state.
- BCLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- One to two years of supervisory or leadership experience.
