About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Engineer to join our team at IK Hofmann. As a Proposal Engineer, you will play a critical role in building tailored quotations and proposals for Power Transformer Service and Installations for our clients throughout the U.S.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and respond to customer RFQ's and RFP's
  • Determine the manpower and tooling required to complete Power Transformer installations
  • Work with internal teams to coordinate the sale of the transformer, logistics, project management, and installation
  • Prepare and deliver technical scope for planned inspections
  • Travel to jobsites as needed to discuss planned and/or performed maintenance
Requirements
  • Ambition and drive to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Technical background relevant to the Service Team, such as a degree in engineering, IT, or a comparable field
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Industry automation experience and previous experience with transformers are a plus
  • Ability to work in several different systems, including Salesforce, Excel, and Jira
  • Structured, collaborative, and positive attitude with respect for all cultures, religions, genders, orientations, and abilities
