CNA for Subacute Unit

We are looking for a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with experience in subacute care to become a vital part of our team at Covina Rehabilitation Center.
Work Schedule:
This is a Full-Time position following a 4/2 schedule, specifically for PM/NOC shifts.
Qualifications:
- Valid CNA certification with completion of an accredited CNA training program.
- At least one year of experience in a subacute care setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Good physical condition to assist patients and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- A compassionate approach towards residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personal care to residents under the guidance of a licensed nurse.
- Assist with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and dining.
- Maintain organizational skills to ensure smooth unit operations.
- Respond to call lights to address resident needs promptly.
- Utilize proper body mechanics when lifting or moving residents.
- Conduct regular patient rounds, documenting any changes in condition.
- Provide companionship and exceptional care to residents.
- Ensure a clean and healthy living environment.
- Prioritize resident activities based on their current care requirements.
- Safely lift and transition residents between beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.
- Transport residents to dining areas for meals and activities.
- Maintain professionalism and punctuality at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Compensation:
The pay scale for this position ranges from $19 to $21 per hour, based on various factors including location, scheduled work shifts, and individual qualifications.
