Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tractor Trailer Truck Driver to join our team at Akumin. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of our mobile medical imaging units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport mobile medical imaging units to various locations
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
  • Set up and take down units at designated locations
  • Complete required documentation and reporting
  • Perform minor maintenance and repairs on vehicles
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Valid commercial driver's license in the state of residence and DOT Medical certification
  • 1 year of commercial tractor trailer experience and knowledge of FMCSR regulations
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to work any schedule, including 2nd and 3rd shifts
Working Conditions

The employee may be exposed to strong magnetic fields and environmental hazards such as noise and travel. Standard office environment with more than 50% of the time spent sitting, standing, and walking.

Less than 50% of the time spent stooping, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and balancing. Ability to carry and lift pounds.
