Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Interviewer, Senior to join our team at Emory University. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for recruiting, screening, and interviewing participants to obtain data for assigned research projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and screen participants to ensure eligibility for research projects
  • Conduct in-person, clinical, or telephone interviews to collect data
  • Coordinate data collection processes and ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Abstract data from medical records and schedule appointments as needed
  • Observe participants and record results through written documentation or video recording
  • Edit questionnaires for completeness, legibility, and accuracy
  • Follow up with participants to obtain missing data or clarify existing data
  • Design and develop forms, worksheets, and study questionnaires
  • Code and enter data into databases and compile reports for analysis
  • Monitor vital signs and collect blood, saliva, or urine samples as required
  • Provide direction and guidance to others engaged in the interviewing process
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date record-keeping
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of administrative support, customer service, or related experience with one year of interviewing experience
  • Data entry experience
  • Phlebotomy training program completion for positions requiring blood draws
