Position Overview
The University of Michigan's Department of Economics is seeking applications for the roles of Associate Professor and Professor, both with tenure, in various specializations within Economics.

Application Requirements
Interested candidates are required to submit the following materials:
- Curriculum vitae
- Statement of teaching philosophy and experience
- Statement outlining current and future research objectives
- Evidence demonstrating teaching excellence
- Diversity statement (1-3 pages) discussing past and planned contributions to diversity, equity, and inclusion through research, teaching, mentoring, and service.

While hard copies of application materials are not mandatory, they may be sent to the Associate Chair for Recruiting at the Department of Economics.

Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be expected to engage in teaching and research in the field of Economics, mentor students, and contribute to departmental and university service.

Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related discipline is required. A proven track record of research publications and experience in teaching Economics or a related field at the post-secondary level will be the primary criteria for selection.
