About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the specialty area of Nephrology. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct clinical services to patients, including physical assessments, diagnostic functions, and specialized risk assessments.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans, including medication management and other forms of treatment.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and healthcare needs.
- Evaluate patients' responses to therapy and make adjustments as needed.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing and a minimum of 2 years of related experience with clinical emphasis for nurse practitioner.
- Current, unrestricted RN license and NP license in the state of California.
- Certification in a specialty or minimum of 1 year experience in the specialty area of Nephrology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ANCC and/or AANP Board Certifications.
- Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Experience in either Primary Care or an Internal Medicine setting with adults and geriatric patient population.
