Job Title: Manufacturing Technician (2nd Shift)

About Us:

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, is seeking an exceptional and talented Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Berea, KY.

Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year

Job Description:

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the assembly and inspection of lift truck parts and subassemblies. This includes building drive axles, power trains, side shifters, and other components within a certain cycle time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble lift trucks and components within a certain cycle time.
  • Test, inspect, make adjustments, and reject parts/materials as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following proper care and usage of assembly tools, equipment, and facility.
  • Ensure safe behavior and operation of equipment, adhering to quality standards.
  • Document work performed using the BAM system.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet production goals and maintain adherence to quality standards.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of six months experience in manufacturing or a related field.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • General knowledge of assembly processes and tools.
  • Ability to read and understand SOE's, OMS, shop orders, operation sheets, prints, diagrams, and written/verbal instructions.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Safety knowledge in a manufacturing environment and proper use of PPE.
