Key Responsibilities
  • Manage recurring special events/projects, including logistics, coordination, and execution.
  • Coordinate departmental events and executive leadership priority projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including administrative and IT processes, research and program projects, and organizational space management.
  • Develop and implement administrative processes that streamline daily operations in accordance with UC policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with LPPI's administrative team to lead weekly meetings and discuss logistics for current departmental events, special projects, and financial updates.
  • Plan and coordinate events and projects alongside various LPPI departments.
  • Maintain software inventory, department online accounts and subscriptions, and organizational space needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise mature judgment and initiative.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and accurately to faculty, students, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and adhere to organizational expectations in a dynamic environment.
  • Highly organized, with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of university policies and procedures, including IT management, procurement, and reimbursement systems.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The position is subject to providing evidence of COVID and flu vaccinations.
