Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier Part Time Representative to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a Cashier Part Time Representative, you will be responsible for processing member purchases in a courteous and efficient manner, while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized front-line department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process member purchases through a point-of-sale system, ensuring accurate inventory counts and purchase totals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to member inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front-line department, including restocking merchandise and ensuring a safe and positive environment for members.
  • Operate a cash register, handling cash, checks, and other forms of payment, while maintaining accurate change and receipts.
  • Stay up-to-date on all merchandise promotions, advertisements, and product information, applying this knowledge to assist members with their purchases.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and service goals, while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
Requirements
  • Basic math skills and prior cashier or sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with regular, predictable attendance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
