Our esteemed medical group is in search of a board-certified or board-eligible Medical Oncologist specializing in Hematology and Oncology. The selected candidate will collaborate with a team of four surgical oncologists and two radiation oncologists within a progressive healthcare environment.
Facility Overview:
The Medical Center is developing a cutting-edge cancer facility adjacent to the hospital, aimed at delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care akin to that found in leading healthcare institutions across the nation. This state-of-the-art Cancer Institute is poised to offer a multitude of services, enhancing patient care and treatment options.
Role Expectations:
The incoming physician will not only practice in a clinical setting but will also play a pivotal role in fostering relationships and representing medical oncology within the hospital. The objective is to establish a robust in-house referral network, with plans to expand the medical oncology team following the initial hire.
Oncology Program Highlights:
- Accredited as a comprehensive community cancer program by the Commission on Cancer
- Team of four surgical oncologists specializing in breast, gynecologic, gastrointestinal, and thoracic cancers
- Two dedicated radiation oncologists

- Comprehensive survivorship program
- Advanced radiation technologies including CyberKnife and Electron Beam IntraOperative Radiation Therapy (e-IORT)

Candidate Qualifications:
- General Hematologist/Oncologist
- Comfortable in a collaborative clinical environment
- Willingness to engage in hospital events and cultivate relationships to advance the program
- Board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Oncology
- Interest in gastrointestinal oncology is preferred
- Previous experience is advantageous
Compensation Package:
The incoming physician will be employed by our organization. The financial package includes:
- Competitive annual base salary of $400,000, with additional bonuses based on quality and performance metrics
- Comprehensive hospital benefits including 401K, paid time off, CME allowance, and health and dental insurance
- Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance
- Production model based on Work RVUs.
