About the Neuroscience Unit:
The Neuroscience unit at Baptist Health is a 24-bed department that provides specialized nursing care to patients with neurological and neurosurgical diagnoses. Our team of experienced nurses works closely with Neuroscience Coordinators to deliver high-quality care to patients with conditions such as stroke, post-operative craniotomy, and post-cerebral embolization.
Job Responsibilities:
The Neuro Spine Nurse will assess and identify patient needs, implementing appropriate interventions to ensure the best possible outcomes. This includes establishing and maintaining a plan for the delivery of nursing care, ensuring that interventions and activities are directed towards resolving problems, and performing technical aspects of care competently.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong critical thinking skillset and attention to detail, as well as the ability to stay up-to-date with changing patient conditions. You will also need to have a strong commitment to family-centered care and be able to act as a resource for patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey.
Education and Experience:
