Job Summary
As a Laboratory Technician at Camin Cargo Control, you will be responsible for performing laboratory testing of various customer supplied, quality control or round robin samples. Your duties will include analyzing crude and refined petroleum, petrochemical, and chemical products, as well as Quality Control samples to verify conformity to specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze crude and refined petroleum, petrochemical, and chemical products, as well as Quality Control samples to verify conformity to specifications.
  • Document each test result and maintain neat, complete, and accurate records.
  • Prepare corresponding customer or Quality Control reports through Camin Cargo Control's computer system.
  • Perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control testing as required for each instrument.
  • Calibrate each instrument as needed and maintain in clean working condition.
  • Maintain and clean laboratory instruments, equipment, and supplies.
  • Be available during non-working hours, weekends, and holidays as dictated by the Laboratory Manager and/or Operations Department.

Fitness for Duty - Physical Demand
The workday may consist of 8-12 hours, however this can vary day to day and shift to shift. Some of the retain work is performed outdoors, wearing full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and could include possible exposure to high and low temperatures for a prolonged duration of time. Laboratory work is normally performed indoors under climate-controlled conditions. All times listed in the table below are approximate.
