Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy network architecture to support business operations.
  • Collaborate with IT Ops Management to implement functional networks.
  • Install and configure network hardware, including firewalls and switches.
  • Configure VPN, optical hardware, wireless networks, and VOIP systems.
  • Research new technologies to support data, VoIP, conferencing systems, and WiFi.
  • Deploy wireless network infrastructures and recommend system enhancements for optimal operation.
  • Recommend IT solutions to business and management problems.
  • Work with Facilities Engineering to implement technologies in new or renovated structures.
  • Establish and document standards and procedures.
  • Execute complex infrastructure build activities, including LAN, WAN, Server, and Database.

Network Monitoring:

  • Monitor and analyze data to improve system performance.
  • Monitor network usage and security issues.
  • Deploy patches to mitigate threats to systems.
  • Respond to issues affecting the network architecture.
  • Support work and ticket resolution associated with the network architecture.
