Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our Acute Rehabilitation Unit at The George Washington University Hospital. As a Physical Therapist on our team, you will play a critical role in the rehabilitation and recovery of our patients.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans for patients with a wide range of medical conditions and injuries.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals.
- Provide hands-on therapy and education to patients and their families to promote optimal recovery and independence.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and research in physical therapy to provide the highest level of care.
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy.
- Master's degree in physical therapy preferred.
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation setting required.
- Must have DC license before start of employment.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals by AHA or Red Cross.
