Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a travel nursing assignment in a reputable healthcare institution.
Job Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for mothers and newborns.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist with vaginal births and C-sections, providing immediate care to newborns and mothers.
- Titrate oxytocin and magnesium sulfate as needed, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest labor and delivery procedures and best practices.
- Current RN licensure and ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery, with a strong background in high-risk labor and delivery care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple patients simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
