Cytopathology Specialist

Cytopathology is a medical specialty that deals with the examination of cells and tissues to diagnose diseases. We are seeking an experienced Cytopathologist to join our team at UT Health San Antonio Multispecialty and Research Hospital.
The successful candidate must have a strong background in diagnostic pathology and be certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. They should also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
We offer a competitive salary of $250,000 per year, which includes a base pay of $220,000 and a bonus of $30,000. The successful candidate will also receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Job DescriptionAs a Cytopathologist at UT Health San Antonio Multispecialty and Research Hospital, you will be responsible for examining cellular samples to diagnose diseases. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and provide expert testimony in court cases.
Required Skills and Qualifications- MD, DO, or PhD degree from an accredited institution
- American Board of Pathology certification in Anatomic or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
