Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms, providing exceptional patient care, and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms for surgical cases, ensuring a sterile and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and patient care.
  • Manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment, ensuring they are properly cleaned, sterilized, and stored.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting a positive and empowering experience.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a surgical technologist program or equivalent experience.
  • Certification as a surgical technologist (CST) or equivalent certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Mandatory Reporting for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse training.
