Job Title: Occupational Health Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to provide occupational health services, including physical evaluations, injury treatment, and health promotion. The ideal candidate will have experience in occupational health, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assure compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations.
  • Provide or manage physical evaluation programs and services to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and treat injuries and illnesses in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to arrange further medical treatment when needed.
  • Conduct occupational and health screening tests, such as EKG, audiometry, and spirometry.
  • Administer the company's Drug-Free Workplace Program and assist with accident investigation.
  • Assess healthcare needs and implement healthcare programs to improve health and facilitate return to work.
Requirements:
  • Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Currently licensed Registered Nurse in the state of practice required.
  • Current hands-on training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for healthcare providers required.
  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred.
  • At least three years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an occupational health clinic, emergency room, or ambulatory care clinic.
Preferred Experience:
  • Knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.
  • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.
