This position involves assisting in the preparation and serving of meals, maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas, and supporting food safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Report to the Food Service Manager or designated leader for daily assignments.
  2. Assist in meal preparation and serving to students and staff.
  3. Utilize kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
  4. Support proper food handling and storage procedures.
  5. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and dining areas, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
  6. May perform cashier duties and serve meals directly to students.
  7. Participate in maintaining a clean and organized food preparation environment.
  8. Perform additional related tasks as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants should possess experience in food service or domestic work, including meal preparation and kitchen maintenance. Alternatively, a combination of relevant training and experience demonstrating the ability to fulfill the responsibilities outlined may be considered.
