We are seeking a highly skilled Master Builder and Project Coordinator to join our team at Construction Zone in the DFW area.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience as a PM on K-12 projects and at least 3 years total PM experience for a commercial contractor. A Bachelor's Degree in construction, engineering or equivalent is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the construction project including developing and maintaining client relationships, managing project schedules, budgets and profitability from project inception through completion.
  • Collaborate with the Field Superintendent to develop, monitor, and update project schedules to ensure achievement of project milestones.
  • Coordinate project meetings internally and with clients.
  • Monitor and analyze construction schedules.
  • Manage contract documents.
  • Problem solve and manage resolution for compliance.
  • Manage projects progress, company labor cost, subcontractors, suppliers, and archive project related activities documents.
  • Conduct site visits for Quality Control from start to finish.
  • Ensure that contract requirements met within budget and customer expectations.
  • Communicate daily with owners, project executives and subcontractors to ensure forward progress is achieved.
  • Enforce safety protocols to ensure company and owner safety requirements are met or exceeded.
  • Maintain appropriate project documentation (change order management, RFIs, submittals, etc.).
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience as a PM on commercial projects.
  • Bachelor's Degree in construction, engineering or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and excellent job costing/budgeting ability, and estimating capability for change orders.
  • Knowledge of construction best practices, and good interpersonal skills.
  • OSHA certified.
