Job Summary

Argos USA, LLC is seeking a skilled CDL A or B Local Ready Mix Concrete Truck Driver to join our team in Lawrenceville, GA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering loads of ready mix concrete to customers in the Atlanta area, ensuring timely and safe transportation of materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a 9-speed manual transmission truck to deliver ready mix concrete to customers in the Atlanta area
  • Ensure timely and safe transportation of materials, adhering to company policies and regulations
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, location, and quantity of materials transported
  • Collaborate with other drivers and operations team members to ensure smooth delivery of materials
Requirements
  • Valid CDL A or B license
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission truck
  • Recent graduates welcome to apply
  • Ability to lift extension chutes and other items weighing between 25 and 45 pounds, at least 30 percent of the time
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including 12-14 hour days, with occasional overtime and weekends
  • Ability to climb up and down ladder/stairs using three points of contact
  • Ability to complete required paperwork for the position
  • Must be registered with the FMCSA's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
  • Must be able to successfully pass the Department of Transportation (DOT) pre-employment drug test, DOT physical, MVR, and national background screen
Benefits

  • Pay per load with an average of 17-25 loads per week
  • 40 hour minimum weekly pay
  • Transition to pay per load after 60 days of employment
